A Wisdom Wall

What if we took some time to “bottle” the wisdom we carry with us? That was my goal for a worship series that explored how our lives are nourished and guided by the wisdom of those who have walked the paths of life before us. Our invitation each week was to share the wisdom within us that we’d been taught over the years.

As a nod to “Dia De Los Muertos,” which occurred during the series, I created a string “Wisdom Wall” with woven tapestries and faux marigolds. Each week, we learned from one another as congregants added the wise quotes and life sayings that they carry with them.
