Remembering Our Homeless Neighbors

Each year, hundreds of people die on the streets of San Francisco. The Annual Homeless Vigil, held each year around the winter solstice at City Hall honors their names and memories.

In 2020, an arts-based advocacy group called Skywatchers, began making banners with the names of our lost neighbors. In 2025, we partnered with them to create this beautiful art installation for Lent so more people could reflect and respond to the names.
